Yesterday was pretty much our average day. I got up did school, helped with kids, talked with friends. When 2:00 came around the corner we heard an “ATTENTION ATTENTION! THE NATIONAL WEATHER COMPANY HAS ISSUED US TO GO TO THE 1, 2, OR 3 FLOOR. THERE IS A TORNADO WARNING!”. We all rushed down stairs and sat there for about 45 mins until they called the all clear. We waited a long time for the elevators. When we got home we stayed there for about 15 mins when, “ATTENTION ATTENTION! THE NATIONAL WEATHER COMPANY HAS ISSUED US TO GO TO THE 1, 2, OR 3 FLOOR. THERE IS A TORNADO WARNING!”. We headed back down stairs. we stayed there for about another 45mins-1 hour. They thankfully called the all clear and we headed home, this time for good. Thank you God for protecting everyone! I sit here writing this on the edge of my seat waiting for another ‘ATTENTION’. Thankfully there isn’t even a tornado watch. I just find it amazing that it was 2 times in 1 night and God still kept everyone safe.
